Not to burst the ol bubble of this guy being a friend round the Isle of Man, but look at his "My Ride" post:"2010 VFR800 VTEC". Now, am I retarded, or did Honda extend the 6th gen to 2010 in different countries??? I smells :spam:

    Welcome,
One of the best damned two week trips I've ever taken was to the IOM GP a couple of years ago. Much to my disappointment we didn't have bikes, but we drove around the Mountain Course and abused our rental car as if we did. And the Ramsay Sprints were an absolute pisser.

Where on the IOM do you live?

Metallican is asking whether you have a NEW 2010 VFR (7th gen), or a sixth gen VTEC.

Wouldn't that be an 09' 6th Gen model then????

Well then, welcome welcome. Some of us in the states wish Honda would offer more than one color scheme over here, the stormtrooper bikes look gooooooood!! However, to prevent any further :flame: -age you should change your "My Ride" to properly reflect the bike you own. After all, it's your bike right, so you should know what it is right????? :flame::flame::flame: :banplease:

Ok, ok, I'm sorry, didn't mean to step on your dick man, just thought I'd point out a little typo if you wanted to correct it. Guess I shouldn't be so hard on the new guy, I'm sorry, :welcome:. But hey, when you do get her, I'm sure we'd all like to see pics of the new ride (as someone mentioned earlier).

Oh, also, I didn't get a chance to throw the one at the show up on the center stand, let us know if it's a little harder due to the higher weight of the new beast, should figure it out the first time you go to lube the chain eh.......................

I saw one of those at the Vancouver Motorcycle Show this weekend. Looks like it is the 2010 paint scheme, I won't say model as I am sure its the same as previous years. Looks like we are going to get both the VFR800 and 1200 at the same time.
