That's actually not a bad price. Up here in New England I see 5th gen's go for more than that. Do they sell? I don't really know. I bought my 02 with 4500 miles last fall for $4100 and there was a 01 for the same price and the seller would not budge. Depends on the area and demand I guess. In my opinion it's hard to sell a VFR for what they are worth because most buyers see them as a "sport bike" and assume they've been thrashed at 20000 miles.

I'd say the price seems fair considering the shape it is in.

I'm just getting old, I think. Polished aluminum looks nice, but keeping it looking nice takes a lot of time and energy, and it starts looking ratty pretty quick if you don't. The price seems reasonable, considering the upgrades. I'd pass just due to the additional upkeep.

One of the main things I love about the my VFR is the fact there is NO chrome on it. I even love the black painted wheels. I got tired of polishing chrome on my old magna. Beautiful bike for sale though!!

Not a bad price, i would say. you can probably wait & find a cheaper bike. But the Staintune is a $600 pipe & requires no maintenance. Sounds Really good too. Can the wheels be treated (clear coat?) so that polishing is not as much of an issue?

Cool, I was just wondering if it was a good buy and maybe if it was a better buy than my 96 for 2600. Mine has a good bit of extra stuff but was dropped before. Hence the fiberglass body kit. I have all of the maitance records and photos of the damage and it really wasn't bad just cracked and scrapped plastic from a drop.
