I live in Middle Tennessee. I'd like to live within 50 miles of the Dragon or on a sailboat located on the east coast. I'd follow the weather with the sailboat. FL in the winter, NE in the summer.

Actually not so much. There are only a few race weeks a year and most NASCAR fans bring RVs and stay the whole week, so traffic really isn't that bad those weeks, unless you go right by the track just before or after a race. The infrastructure put in to accomodate the track actually makes my work commute a breeze. I may watch a few races a year, but I am not a big fan. I can sit on my patio and listen and know when someone is in the wall though:)

Northern VA on the Rappahannock river. Halfway between Warrenton and Culpeper and halfway between Culpeper and Fredericksburg. I own all this plus more to the right (the whole way to the river).

New Milford, Connecticut, incorporated 1712. In the sticks of north west Ct. About 80 miles from NYC and far enough away from salt water, just how I like it.

I live in Lascassas, TN. One stop sign, one gas stations, 4 churches and I don't belong to a single one. But I've got a nice home, 2 acres of land, a drinking problem, two loud motorcycles, and a pissed off neighbor.:cheersaf:

I live right smack in the middle of South Bay in SoCal. Long Beach to the South East and Santa Monica to the North West. Best climate in the entire world . 60 degree Winters and 80 degree Summers. Humidity doesn't ever really get over 30% unless its actually raining. Great Canyon and/or Mountain riding all year long less than a hour away. The closest being Santa Monica Mountains and Malibu only about 25 minutes away. I love it here, I just can't afford anything outside the Hood. I live in HawthaWatts and if I call you, my number will come up Compton, CA. I've been here my whole life so I can relate to what The Beach Boys once said... something like "the bad guys know us and they leave us alone."

I live in Newcastle, 2 hours drive north of Sydney, S'stralia. Good place, I'm close to beaches, lots of cafe's & more importantly walking distance to 5 pubs & 3 bottle shops.

On the down side, its a coal port, so we get a lot ships, busy harbor & the odd boat that occasionally parks on our beach.

It's cool how these old threads come to life when things slow down, that is, when a lot of the riders have put their bikes into hibernation. Must say though, we are having a brutal winter here in San Diego. It was only 80 degrees over the weekend. NICE:cool:
