Found a '96 motor, picking it up later this week.
Will let you guys know what I find when I open the other one up (with pics).
Once again thanks for the input.

The rebuild/ motor swap is complete!!!
All went well, and rides perfectly other than I need to do a carb sync and adjustment.
A '96 motor being put into a '93 VFR is not an exact match/ swap, but no big deal, took two days to complete.
    Thanks to all for assistance.

Thanks for asking, she runs quite well although she failed the emissions testing here in AZ. Bad Hydrocarbon reading so I think a vacuum leak or electronic.
I did put the '93 pulse generator into the '96 motor (plug was reversed from the '93 wiring harness) and left the '96 Stator (generator (coiled wire inside spinning flywheel)) on the '96 motor even though all the rest of the electronics is the original ,93 components.
Excellent running and handling bike, I forgot how nice this bike was the day I bought back in '93.

Great looking bike! Mine looks like that, but much older and used. Did you take the 'vfr' stickers off of the mid farings? I like the look, kinda cleaned it up a bit. Also, emissions !!!!??? WTH!!! On a bike? That blows! In AZ you can register cars and bikes so easy and for so long.... I am just floored by the fact you have to smog them. Any ideas how you are going to fix the failed smog?

Also, if you are ever out this way, Vegas, drop me a line.

dcompson- yeah, the day I bought the bike back in 1993 I pulled out a can of Bestine and removed the mid fairing stickers..... not really sure why but must have made sense at the time.
Down hear in AZ a law has been passed to eliminate emissions on motorcycles but has yet to be approved by the feds(EPA), possibly sometime this summer. But I want to get her registered for this spring......actually Now because it's very nice out (77deg).
I may be pulling the carburetors off again and check everything to out. Something must be plugged because while trying to adjust the pilot jet screws only the left side carbs effect the idle. On the right two carburetors whether the screws are all the way in or all the way out, no effect at all to the engine speed.
