    Hello all,
So I bought a 1984 vf500f, it has blown front forks amongst other things. Included in the sale was a 2nd set of blown 1984 forks, and a freshly rebuilt set of red colored 1986 forks.

My question is this: can I use the 1986 forks on my 1984 bike? If they do fit, will they "match" the rear suspension?

    Thanks guys,
    -Gary-
