Hello everyone. I registered last year when I was looking for a bike for my brother. I found a nice '98 for 2,500.00 that I should have bought for myself but I let him have it. Now I am looking for a 6th gen for myself. I recently sold my Superhawk because I have wanted VFR since the early '90s and figured now was as good a time as any to get one.

Welcome, I recently picked up a 6th gen myself and love it. I came close to pulling the trigger on a red superhawk just like yours and I'm glad I didn't. I think this bike is going to serve my every need for a long time to come

Welcome! Where does your brother live? That is a nasty looking snow bank! Good luck on the search. I'm getting my self ready for a nice 3,500 mile ride at the beginning of June out to MN to see my brother, including a run up to Aerostich. I love touring on my vfr.

My brother lives in Yosemite National Park. He bought the bike in St. Louis when he was staying with me before moving back to Yosemite last year.

    yes welcome to the forum.

i have spent many many miles aboard a superhawk (honda market them as 'firestorms' down under) VTR 1000.

its a great bike, and very versatile , like the 6th gen 800. so you should find a lot to like about the V4.

just a note on that v twin crossover, put an aftermarket muffler on your 6th gen and you'll get close to the sound of the VTR.

    less thump...more growl...
