Names Dennis. Picked up an 06 in March to replace my Katana that a Jeep decided to put an end to back in August. Only put about 500 miles on it so far so I am slacking on my riding a little this year. I'm currently in Canton Ct. Anyone from the area looking to ride hit me up.

Welcome Dennis. What size Katana did you have?
My last Suzuki was a Katana 1100 and I loved it.
Great sport - touring torque monster.

So far I like it. Gotta change out the seat though

I had a '06 Katana 750. It was a good all around bike. The 1100 are sweet but next to impossible to find anymore.

Hi Dennis, welcome to vfrworld! There is a pretty active group out this way, though I have not riddent with them. Look for threads on the Northeast. We sure do live in a great area for riding.

The best change I made to my vfr was to buy a Sargent seat. Sitting on pretty much anything for more than a couple of hours at the beginning of the season is a treat :), but I did four hours Saturday after about 1,000 miles so far this season, and though I got tired and a bit sloppy by the end, my butt was not the problem. I highly recommend a Sargent seat.

The Sargent seat is the one I am looking to get. Did around 150 miles on Saturday and it was starting to get to me. It's not bad but I think I would need to take more breaks then I am use to.
