Is there a way to stow the handles under the seat when not in use? It looks like the under seat tray was designed to hold something.... But I can't figure a good way to put the handles in there... I figured the big rubber band was in there to hold them down, but I'm probably wrong. Anyone have a clue on this??

You could probably get away with that. The rubber bands are there to hold two things. On the left side of the bike it should be holding down part of the tool kit... an extension. On the right side should be the rest of the tool kit in a pouch. If you can get them in there, there is no reason that you can't stow em there. My Power Commander resides on the right side of the bike and the pouch sits in the area in the middle. Just make sure that you have a baggie of some sort to hold the bolts and washers in so that they don't randomly disappear.

The third gen handles are designed to fold in under the seat; the fourth gens' are not. Theres really no place to stow the handles on the 4g so you just have to fit them in there somehow. BTW, the rubber band is for securing one of these:[IMG]

Good answers.... Thanks guys. I guess I'll just leave them at home.

It would be cool to trim the cowl around them so you'd never have to remove them, but probably lose the look the cowl gives... Anyone ever done that around here?
