NEED 86 VF500 Rear Fender!

Hello everyone.


I'm not positive if I'm posting in the right section, as you can see I'm brand new to this website.

I'm also brand new to the world of riding, somewhat. I've been riding dirtbikes for a long time but this is my first street bike.

I'm purchasing a 1986 vf500 interceptor today, actually in about an hour but it needs a little work.

The main thing I need is the rear fender, I need it badly to be honest. The bike was laid down and the damage was all done to this fender, minus a little paint damage. It runs like a champ but it won't be street legal until I get this fender, considering I can't put the new lights on without it.

I've looked on ebay and there was a fender on there a few days ago but it must have been bought, so basically someone on here is my last hope...

Sorry for the long intro.

If anyone is parting out a bike or has this part and is willing to sell it for a reasonable price itd be GREATLY appreciated.

Ebay is definitely your best source, but you've already been there. I've got a fair amount of VF500 parts, but not an extra fender. There are alot of VF500 owners here, so hopefully somebody will be able to help you out. Post up some pictures once you get the bike. Welcome to the forum.

 

Thanks I appreciate the welcoming, yeah it needs a bit of work but basically I'm getting the bike for dirt cheap. 500 bucks! Brand new tires too! Basically I need just the rear fender, he has the grab bar and all lights for me. Its a steal

Later on I'll probaly be getting a front fender and it also needs the side things, I'm not sure what they are called, the plastics that cover where the battery would be, for both sides, also there are two small pieces that cover the sides of the rear fender going to the tail lights, but those are pretty much optional.
