I'm looking for ways to mod my 82 v45 Sabre. I'd like to go lighter, handle better, and have rear disk brakes. If the vf750F swing arm would swap over to the Sabre then all my dreams would be answered. Anyone know if this can be done or what other options are available to achieve my goals. P.S. the v4hondabbs.com is no longer allowing new members (or at least won't respond to my emails) so if the answer is there please post the details. Thanks for the help.

The F is chain drive, the S is shaft drive, so unless your willing to convert (check rotation direction) I doubt it.

Now the VF1100S is shaft drive and has a rear disk brake, so check out those dimensions, maybe.

Personally, I used the rear brake lightly, so I never worried about it, but I always wonderd if I could adapt JUST the rear end so I could get a rear disk.
