    Hello All!

I just bought my first VFR a couple of months ago. I'm enjoying it a lot and I'm happy to see the great following it has. My VFR is a 1996 with 106K miles and still going strong! I hope to get plenty of riding time on it. So far, I've put a little over 1k miles. Any other high mile bikes out there? Hope to get some pictures up soon...

    Take care!
    Rick

I've only got 2k on mine but, 2 months isn't enough time to get in a good amount of riding.Ten hour shifts don't help much either.

Thanks for the welcome! How many miles have you put on it? You change the oil often?

I bought this bike to get back into riding. Now I wonder which gen is better. I like the idea of fuel injection. Are there less maintenance issues with those?

I have put about 15k on mine since May. I have changed the oil 3 times, so about every 5K. The last change I did when I changed the clutch pack. I put in synthetic oil by Castrol. So far, I have experienced no problems using it.
