As titled, my 5th gen's adjustment dampener just spins and spins, shock seems to be working, by that I mean dampening in both directions, I just thought I could go for an affordable upgrade. I read postings until my eyes hurt and never found much of a direct replacement for my bike. I thought I had read in the past that an f4i was a direct replacment and there are quite a few available.
If anyone has some insight on some options, I'm sure it would be appreciated here on the forum.
    thanks

Penske has a nice afordable option. They are located in P.A., Hyperpro USA has nice very afordable options two and both are afordable. Elka has a nice one but you aee getting up in price. Then you have Ohlins.

I honestly think penske and hyperpro offer a lot of bang for your buck.

I got an elka two way from motoworld for $670. I think the three way is 795 (this is without hydrolic preload). its a pretty good deal for a nice piece of kit. you'll have to call and talk to them and tell them your a member of vfrw or vfrd but they'll hook it up after that. Good luck
