Official VFR sighting thread

Saw a silver 6G with matching topcase yesterday at 5:25 on Northport Dr by Warner park in Madison, WI yesterday. The rider nodded my wave.

 

Saw a red RC36 this AM on Olive Ave going past Warner Bros Studios on my way to work ~11:30 PDT. Nice lookin' machine!

 

I saw a charcoal 6th gen at the country store at the 522/208 junction today; but I asked the guy if he was on VFRW and he said "No, there are sights for these things?" So, I told him about this and VFRD, but I have no idea if he'll actually check out either...

Spotted this at the Westfield Air Show today. It had a Connecticut plate. Does it belong to any of you? It appeared to be an 02.

 

On Saturday Aug 21 at 10 am, I encountered a red 5G traveling east out of Waunakee, WI as I was heading west on Hwy 19 into town. Big VFR Brotherhood waves were exchanged.

Next time I encounter a vfr I'm going to have to turn around and actually talk to one of these wise aficionados.

 

Saw a gray gen 6 on Brazos street between 6th and 7th in Austin TX approx 10 am on Monday 23 August

 

Saw a silver gen 6 on Greenway Blvd in Middleton, WI yesterday at about 4:45.

 

Orange Park, FL Sighting

Yesterday I saw a 5th Gen in yellow heading south on Blanding Blvd just before Wells Rd. in Orange Park, FL at at approximately 6:50 pm.

Silver 6th gen with what looked to be black and red Givi cases heading toward Cross Plains, WI on highway 14 at 3:10 today.

Saw an Asphalt Gen 6 in the HRC Center of Excellence parking lot on Fort Knox Ky. Thursday 26 August around noon

 

Monday, Aug 30, 10:40am, I-75 in KY heading south just about 5 miles away from TN line, yellow 2000 VFR, soft luggage (?).

 

Monday August 30, near Williamsburg, KY, heading south in I-75, (another) yellow VFR, beattle bags, clean looking machine.

 

Saw a black 6th gen with hard bags coming from 36 in Susanville to 395 east bound last week.

 

Monday August 30th, 3pm or so, about 1 hour south of Indianapolis, heading south, we saw a white 6th gen vfr, black tail bag. Nice looking bike.



We saw 3 VFR's as we were heading north from a vacation in Tennessee. I'm guessing you were all at the MotoGP in Indy???

 

Spotted red 6th gen with hard bags parked in front of my car in D.C. on Sat. 28th. at the mall.

 

Saw a black 6th gen heading east on Easton Ave, 4:32 pm yesterday. I believe this is one I saw last year. Same area, same color, do not recall that the riders were similar, but they probably are the same guy.

 

back around the 25th of Aug (530pm) or so, I passed what looked to be an original RWB. Waved to the guy and went our separate ways (i was exiting the expressway). looked to be in solid shape.
