bolts in back valve cover?

    Another, what's this do post.

    There are two bolts in the top of the rear valve cover that don't go anywhere (might be M6s, the parts diagram doesn't even show them as far as I can tell) What are these?

    on the top outside of the cover??

    Those hold the "drip funnel" as I call it. There's a funnel that supposed to catch overflow fuel from the tank, funnel it through a hose, and down to the ground without dripping on a hot motor.

    That's the best I can figure of what you're talking about without pictures.

    If you need one, I may have an extra.

    thanks, I think I get it. You're calling #11 a drip funnel (bikebandit calls it "RUBBER, PETCOCK HEAT") and the bolts I'm talking about are #24

    that's for the rubber piece. whether it's a heat shield or rain protector, I dunno, but that's the rubber sheet that attaches there.

    Having trouble finding it on the fische.

    On this slide, part #10 is very similar to what I'm referring to. It attaches to the same location on the frame with the slots and then has two bolt holes that match up with the holes on your valve cover.
