Ya well it's been two days. I'd say the next challenge must be a dry cleaners, since there looks to be one on the right side of the second picture...?

    Dry cleaner anybody?

Not that I'd get a response in good time, but does that include a dude with the flippy Stop/Slow sign who's around when a road is getting paved?

So if someone is giving "the finger", technically that's a sign...

New tag is a medical examiners office. Could also be a Coroners office depending on where you live.

    Ok, here we go.
I have been reading this thread for a while, and finally I managed to spare some time to participate.

There seems to be no Coroner's Office or Medical Examiner where I live.
Would this Forensic Medicine facilty count?

    vfr forensic.jpg

if acceptable, the next challenge is your VFR in front of an airport control tower.

I am down with the forensic place.

I already have a picture of my VF with a control tower, but it is old. Hopefully someone can get a fresh one up.

Looks like The Hamster has a camera, a control tower, and the picture -but it was taken prior to the challenge; MARK024 has a control tower but is missing his 3mp camera; and METALLICAN525 found his camera but is missing the tower.
    No winner yet.
    1.5 more days to go...

Okay, if my little country town control tower is good enough. The next challenge is to have a photo of your VFR next to or infront of a 44 gallon drum.

Yeah, It was something a little different. Ive been thinking about getting one over our winter. We use them to have fires for parties. There is a gas station nearby that sells them or maybe try Saudi Arabia.
I want to see either the filthiest, rusted out drum or a brand spanker. Keep your eyes open & Best of Luck.

Mark024, so the 3mp camera thing was for real!
The problem with your picture was not the exposure of the bike, it was the size of the tower.
I had a hard time finding it, but it is a tower! You got it.

I am really thankful you posted the challenge of the 44 gallon specifically calling for the bike in front or next to it. I was worried you would ask for the bike on top of it.
That would have been a challenge!

I just got this on my way out from the office today. Is it rusty enough?

04viffer, If you are puzzled by the 44 gallon, here is a quick explanation:

Drum (container) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A 55-gallon drum (known as a 44-gallon drum in the United Kingdom, Canada, Ireland, South Africa) is a cylindrical container drum with a nominal capacity of 55 US gallons (46 imp gal; 208 L). The exact capacity varies with wall thickness and other factors. Standard drums are 22.5 inches (572 mm) in diameter and 33.5 inches (851 mm) high (these dimensions yield a total volume of ~218 L). Exact dimensions are specified in ANSI MH2.

For the next challenge, (if you consider my drum acceptable) I will ask for some creativity:
Your VFR in front of a sign that has the letters VFR in it.
Can be a street name sign, an office building sign, an advertisement sign, or any other sign, in any language -except a sign manufactured just for this.
To make it "doable" the letters can be in any order or can be part of any word.

    Examples:
    Frankiln D. Roosevelt Avenue
Internal Revenue Service - Vermont Office

Of course, extra points if you get them in the right order; and super extra points if they are at the beginning of each word.
    Example:
Vintage French Radios for sale. 555-123-4567

    Hope is not too complicated!
    Cheers

How about a competition of best dance moves next to your viffer? I could start by setting the bar high...
