Hey guys! Have been riding VFR 2007 for a year. Has just moved to Oxford in order to obtain master degree.
Last week my bike was transported by a currier and it arrived seriously scratched. Chaps suggested to talk with accident solution centre in Witney. If someone has any other alternative to suggest, please help. In Abingdon Honda dealer shop, man said that I had to change the fairing since it could not be repaired/painted.

Hi, Only new myself , gotta 02 VFR 800. Was there any inventory or record of the condition of the bike made before they took charge of the bike at the far end?
REally there should have been, something like when you rent a car your supposed to take a walk around to sign off on the body work condition.

Of course no record was taken, because the process lead my friend (big customer of the currier) and even he could not even imagine that the currier would be such an idiot. It became evident, that after loading the bike that guy drove to another customer to have his van more loaded and thus to make more money. As a result, bike was moved directly to the side of the van to free more space and while he was driving along, bike was being scratched...
As a friend of mine is considerably powerful customer, he can make some influence on the currier. And now only reputation depends on the decision the currier takes - pay compensation or not.
Folks at Honda dealer shop made an assessment paper where it is stated, that 1600 GBP is required for new fairing and work... fantastic...
Picasa Web Albums - M@3STR0 - Honda VFR here is the link on my bike  Not damaged, yet
