    Hello All,

New to VFRworld, thought I would come here and check the place out. I picked up a 97 VFR at the beginning of summer, and now I am getting ready to turn it into a winter project.

I love the bike, but miss the lightness of my old 600. Not sure if I should try to turn the VFR into something more apt for the track, or go back to a 600. I guess I will go test out the "search" function of this forum.

Any recommendations for those with the "frankenviffer" projects?

    Thanks

Welcome to the site. I am pleased to be the first to say POST SOME PIX. W like pix. But I can't help you with your questions cause all I have ridden is a VFR. My present on for that matter. Well, that is not quite true cause I ride else's VFR while they rode mine. but from what I gather form others here, you may be disappointed if you are expecting the VFR to measure up to a true sport bike. After all, this is a sport tour bike. I am sure someone will pipe up with some answers for you. Great people here.

And that is what i am afraid of...The VFR is so much better on most of my commute to work, but when I take the long way home, I miss my 600....

Not sure if I should try to change the VFR, or just go back to a 600....
