Hey all, AnUnknown1 here got some questions.
Looking for my fellow Viffers here in the Vegas Valley
not to mention suggestions on places to ride. So far the only
places i am aware of really are:

1)Red Rock Canyon (loop and just out towards pahrump)
    2)Lake Mead
    3)Mt. Charlston

Any suggestions on other local places or routes would be awesome. The Wife is new to riding to i havent been taxing her too hard, but she is progressing and we are looking for other places to go still within reason. Plus its a good way for me to see who rides where and meet and greet all of my fellow Viffers. Thanx for any and all input.

The ride over to Pahrump wasn't too bad, plus there's a track over there that SportRider likes to test at. Valley of Fire is a nice ride as well. About 1.5-2 hours north on the interstate when you leave AZ and get into Utah there are some nice canyons to ride, but be warned, the police liked to monitor them. I was stationed at Nellis from 2001-2005, so things may have changed a bit, but that's what I got for ya!!!

    Hey y'all.
New to the site and new to the VFR.
Headed out toward Pahrump yesterday and had a blast . . .
Luckily the Po Po was watching traffic coming toward me though.
Couple of guys were trying to outrun one with its lights rollin' and siren screamin'
Retards. All on Ninjas too, by the way . . .

Think they learned the hard way; you just can't outrun a radio.

Another fun place is anywhere around Death Valley. I've often taken a run out to Tecopah. It's about an hour maybe hour and a half. Nice stretch of open straight where you can open it up. That's where I've gotten up to 161. That turns into some sweepers and then a short run of twisties of a hill. But, ya can't really enjoy the twisties 'cause there's often gravel up there. Tecopah has a cute little bistro that I like for lunch when it's open. Or you can go further into Shoshone and eat at the Crow Bar.

When are we riding? Okay, can't be next weekend, I'm outta town... but maybe some time after that? Maybe one day over Thanksgiving weekend?
