That was my first thought as well. Your new toy looks like fun. Really, can you ever have TOO many bikes?

Reg71---awesome. The YZ's rock. I would probably need the 4stroke due to not being willing to run WFO off road which is what is required to do it correctly. Some of my friends dirt ride all the time and are always saying "Be one of us Richie" like the freaking lost Boys. Man 4 bikes I am jealous, I can't get past one nice one.:lever: :yo:

    nah, it's the 450 it's an 03 model.

nah, no 1098 yet. I think I'll keep biding my time on that one. I like not having any payments.

there's an idea. I'd get some serious tickets like that I think...

I hope I enjoy it without killling myself! It's gonna take me a bit of getting used to. It's been a long time for me to do it in the dirt.

not in my opinion. As long as I get saddle time on them all, I'm happy. My wife doesn't seem to mind so what the hell right?

I think I'm compensating for the years I spent bikeless. It was like 2 or 3 years with 0 bikes so I had to catch up again. Plus, after moving here and finding out about all the crazy riding places here, I had to be able to ride off road also.

I'm very happy with it so far. I haven't been able to ride it yet, but I looked at a 426 first and there was no comparison in the quality of the way this guy cared for his bike compared to the 450. The guy had trashed the 426 and the 450 was nice and only $500 more... Starts easy, sounds like a mean bitch and looks like he really takes care of it. I'll need a new rear sprocket before too long, though. That happens on a dirtbike as you know, though. I was actually looking for a Honda 250, but they were more than this 450 so I figured what the hell. I can try and ride like I have some sense on a 450.

Nice Reg! I've got a WR 450 myself. Great, great trail bike, you'll love it!! You definitely won't be asking for more power. I'd imagine the previous owner did the standard mods already too (Yamaha's infamous "grey wire", etc).

Hey Congrats - Hope you still have time to ride your VFR. You got me beat - I am at 3 bikes myself, but want to sell one. You might want to start making room inside the house or build a garage - If you are married your wife may ask if you are trying start a Motorcycle Dealership at the house - GOOD LUCK AND ENJOY!!!!!

dunno bout that one. I know he did some suspension mods and cahnged the bars and triple clamps. there are a few easily noted mods, but he probably did more. I know he raced but not sure if he raced this bike as he has been injured for 2 yrs most of the time. He was on crutches while showing the bike. Prob not good for sales eh?

yeah, my friend rides Yammy also and he changes his oil nearly every ride. the guy I bought this one from said every 3 rides, and he gave me an extra air filter.

Oh, I'm still riding the VFR even after the lowside and quick repairs. It's driving me crazy without a left mirror, though. I didn't know how much I glanced back until it was gone. My wife is pretty understanding, and since we are about to get the ski boat she's been wanting, she doesn't fault me for wanting more bikes. Besides, the little bike is for my stepson, the little VF is for her (even though I'm the only one who has ridden it), the big VF is mine, and the YZF is mine, but for dirt so I have good reasons for all of them. I still need a bobber, though.
