Wall of Shame

I used these comments in a recent thread and was asked, "Where is the Wall of Shame?" I had said that metaphorically. But got to thinking, why not. Why not have a thread where those of us who are not bashful, can post up photographs of our misfortune.

So here it is. Your place to post up your photos of your VFR after you moments of, lets say. lapses of quality judgement. I am suggesting that you only post photographs of your ride. Leave others to post if they so desire.

I would also suggest you think before you post. Your postings here could be found to be evidentiary.

 

Did not take pic's of my bike when I decided to throw it down......was to busy cursing.

 

No pics. Damn. I was too busy being bent out of shape and cursing.

 

I was too pissed to even curse, especially since it happened because I'd forgotten to take off the disk lock I had on the front wheel...

I didn't take pictures...other did maybe they will post them....

 

Overshot my driveway entrance, started making a U turn......

....... and the next thing I know and hear ......

...... is the dull thud of my helmet hitting the tar!

Took me a day to make peace with myself. Felt pretty stupid, but convinced myself that these tar stains add character.
Fortunately the pannier frame protected the back end, just put it back on that morning, not taking it off again!

$#!t happens......

Mr. Crusty, I plead guilty as charged! Give myself a mental hiding every time i clean her, no need to worry.

 

Next we should cover diseases we have had including itchy scalp, athletes foot, memorable zits and long gone pets. One must have had one or more VFRs to post in what should really be called,"Randy's Road Rash Ramble".

 

Of my several mishaps were so long ago they didn't have cameras yet. Would drawings work?

Right now I use $17.00 per bottle prescription shampoo for itchy scalp, had a bad run with athlete's foot as a teen, had a bad zit on my ass which hurt like hell when I sat down, constantly reminding me of someone whom will remain nameless, and my long gone dog.....well, he was a good dog and was rewarded for his life of dedication to his master with a needle. BTW, I had a bad case of crotch rot when I was in boot camp too! IBS is not unheard of either but I won't go into that.

Torpedoed from the left side. - had about 6 ft to halt the bike before impact...almost made it, But I never dropped her :wink:

 

Hey Randy, that reminds me of the time I did a 500 Mile run on the AT while suffering a bad case of piles. Hurt like hell but two days later i was as fit as a fiddle. More details available on request. LOL

At least your bike is still in good shape..

 

It has its war wounds too but they are very minor. Won't show much in pix. Maybe I will try to photograph them and post up myself.

 

Still waiting for pics of Crusty's rare earth ground magnet in action, I know several have pic's. Come to think of it......hell I may.
