Hopefully Crusty will give you direction in how to crash. I'm sore afraid he may be hopeless in the language department.

Darn guy just seems like he is always asking for help and when he gets it, he gets pissed and flies off the handle.

    I'll post mine:
I got this R1 in bad shape
    [IMG]
It looked like they sanded the fairing with 12 grit sand paper it ran bad etc.
I fixed it all up ready for the track, brand new pirelli Diablo Streets. Just gonna take it easy, not racing or anything I will be fine!
    nope

To finish it all off? Tons of chicken strip left on the tires... I returned these based on defect and got some brand new 2CT's and never had a problem!
We were on the warm up lap, less than 30mph cruising behind an instructor who just peeled the wrapper off of his tires ad my bike just let go suddenly! Idk what happened, haha. no brakes, movement or anything. It was a fluke!

I don't know whether I agree or disagree with President Obama's new policy. Lots of those harleydoods like to get ass ended.

What is this BS about putting the blame on tires. If that was something new then maybe, but it ain't nothin new. This rehash of "why I went down and here is what happened", is BS. Tires are one of the reasons that dustbin fairing was banned in the mid-50s. The GP bikes were so fast even then the tires caused most of the problems. Case in point, the Motoguzzi 500cc V8 GP bike.

Bouncing off the tarmac or even the dirt at much less than the ton has a propensity for inexact recollection. Even with highspeed cameras from two angles the experts argue about what caused the meeting of the rider with the road.

Ain't a tire made yet that has any "coeffiecient of friction" in a puddle of oil. Then again maybe we should all get a set of those tungsten carbide studded tires that the guy on the badass Beemer was using on that frozen lake. Probably not a great idea but think of it in terms of those tires being able to tenderize most any roadkill.

Well Billy, I don't know what to tell you. The guys at the track tried to tell me the same thing "You MUST Have grabbed the front brake!" "No way!" Blah blah blah.
Here is a pic from about a month later:

Another thing I guess is worth mentioning is that they claim there was mud all over the track in the morning and they hosed it all off before we got there. I might have just caught the perfect dirt patch..

I was asked to move up to A group the next track day after that, just so you know I'm not a complete novice ;)

Lets see if we have this? The guys at the track suggest you might have hammered the front brake, hit some mud or other such, and after crashing for still unknown reasons, you are moved up to the "A" class? If I may suggest, Get a grip would be the apropos term.

BTW, "Novice" is a classification and I don't see a number plate on your bike.

Not as bad as most here but was pretty tough on my religion for a few minutes. The worst thing is it just rolled off the sidestand in the driveway while it was idling. I was in the garage gathering my helmet, jacket etc when there was this sudden, sickening crunch sound and the bike quit running. I knew...

I once left mine in neutral on the side stand and started to walk away. Heard a scraping sound and turned around to see my bike very slowly sliding backwards down the very slight incline. That was the last time I left it on the side stand without putting it in gear.
