Hey there: I am going to instal new tires tomorrow, on my 2007. Any thoughts on installing a 190 on the back instead of the 180? I think it will fit on the rim. Anhy comments on handling possibilities? The 180 handles great, don't want to mess that up.
    Cheers
    John.

Just leave the 180 back there. The only thing a 190 will do is make the turn in slower due to the flatter profile.

Bro, Install the correct tire specifications for your 6th Gen. You don't want to buy a size 12 shoes if your size 9.

The 180 is perfect and I would not mess with a sure thing.

I had this urge when I had my VTX1800. I went from 180 to 200 and shorter shocks.
Bike got so bad that I was afraid to turn it in a small turns. It would dive into the turn after certain point and you will have to muscle it into the turns.
Cost me almost a grand to change the bike to 200 and I could not deal with it, that said it force me to get VFR and I am happy with it.
