Looking to see what everyone is running for sprockets on the F2/3 wheel conversions. Stock VFR is 16/45 and the CBR is 15/43. Not a huge difference when doing the math but I want to see what works from experience.

    Thanks for your help

Fredsncoma said he runs a 43, think your OK with 43-45.

Yep, I haven't had any issues with acceleration or anything. Been a long time since I Wheelied it, but that's lack of effort. I am sure it would still come right up in 2nd gear if I chose to do so.

I left the stock gearing on my 500 when I made the switch. I know the math might say there is a difference but I couldn't tell at all

So you left the front sprocket the stock size of 16? or did any of you change it to the CBR size of 15.

Yea I left the 16t on the front. Changing the front sprocket is a pretty drastic move. If you want to change anything change the rear. Also the CBR is a differenrt machine and I would not worry about what sprocket sizes it uses in comparison to a VF

I left my 500 16/44 just like I had it before the F2 rear wheel and I really could not tell a bit of difference after the wheel swap.
