As of right now Comicus and I are going to battle the weather Wednesday to get there for a good looking Thursday and friday morning.

Im recovering very nicely and theres a chance that i might still make it for maybe friday if i get my engine cover gasket in time

I would really like to meet yall and this might be my only chance since im moving back to Mn later this summer

 

Well we are back in the hospital after being home just one day so now I seriously doubt I will be able to come at all. I think I am just going to postpone my trip until the 3rd week of May.

Heres to a quick recovery for the little one(s)!! I hope it all turns out well.

A couple friends of mine are coming down from May 14-18, you would be more than welcome to hang out/ride with us if that fits into your schedule.

Im going to have to cancel my trip up there as well. Promised a buddy that I would come see him for a year this week seem like a good one. Hope everyone has a great time and has a safe ride ill be there for the fall g2g if there is one.

:rain: Now we're leaving Atlanta early Thursday and we should be there around 11:00 am. The weather looks great Thursday through Saturday. :biggrin:

 

good to see everyone who came again, plus we added a new 1200 this time.

roads were abused, tires got patched, lies were told, and fine burbon was dispatched.
thanks to new guy bob for following me down on his purty 1200 to get a patch/plug.

i took the long way home over the cherohola and down hwy 68, and it was great.

maybe see some of you in a few weeks for tmac for a couple of days.

Mike T and Matt Parker made it home safely after riding the curves on the tail and foothills Friday morning. We also stopped in a nice little bar in Franklin on the way home, and saw some nice curves (but didn't ride them). I had a great time with you guys again - thanks everyone!

Well, our trip home was uneventful to say the least. Really wish my front tire had a little life left in it so we could have done a little more riding on Friday. It was a goregeous day. Cudos to all of those that said "screw it we're goin" and showed up @ Mo's for the g2g. Lots of laughs around the campfire and great company! Let's get 2 gether again real soon! Perhaps we can simply plan a Fri,Sat, Sun affair so we can do it more often.

 

I am planning on going to stay at the Kickstand from May 19th (Thurs) through May 21 (Saturday) if anyone is interested.

This is during the same period of time as the TMAC ride organized by VFRD boards so there will be another 50 or so Viffer owners staying and riding out of Franklin, NC which is about 1 hour away from Kickstand Lodge. Anyone interested in tagging along? I already know a few members here were planning on going to TMAC this year but wasn't sure if they were all staying at the Franklin Motel or camping instead. I'll probably be doing my own thing ridewise for most of the time but would like to meet the group for at least a few hours for some pics and convesation. Come 10pm though I want to be telling lies to Mo with a Scotch in my hands standing around the campfire at the good ole' Kickstand Lodge!
