Anyone know the proper amount of fork fluid for these forks?? We think 350cc's is way to much and that when the fork compresses it's going to blow out the seals. Maybe we have trapped air??? Someone online posted a fork service which stated "Oil Level USA Model 1990-91: 383cc per leg". What are we missing?

Yeah, I have that manual... it's kind of vague in the re-assembly. But I would like to chastise you for not sending me that link for the "free" VFR750 service manual 2 years ago, lol. I payed $20 bucks for mine!

Does putting a 10w oil in those forks to stiffen them up bother you at all? Was thinking of dropping the front end down anyway, maybe a heavier oil would compensate for the loss in height...?

Oh, that's awesome! I take back all the bad things I ever said about you! I remember wanting a "Cub" when I was a kid! What an ugly NASA moped!

7 weight Belray fork oil/race tech gold valves with fork springs/fork legs dropped in triple tree about 20 mm/been riding this set up for 60,000 miles/went to 5 weight honda oil and blew out fork seals! after 75,000 cant complain. I know that I need two bottles of fork oil for the change. Drain plugs are nice me thinks that it was maybe 280 CCs?

Oh...In the past I have stuck my Ratio-Rite cup under the fork leg or what ever I wanted to measure and let it drain into the cup. This way you have some other knowledge of what was in there and the amount within reason.
