So out riding today and the bike shuts down 5 times in the last 3 miles heading home. FI light comes on but not sure if that's a symptom or part of the engine shutting off. Pull in the clutch and she refires. Gas? but have run 1/2 tank out. Electrical? the clock and trip reset each time it stalled, but starts back up. RR is too hot to keep your hand on but wires look ok and no burnt smell. Its hot out, 97 and high humidty, been out in hotter and no issues before...
So, brought the battery to work, load test dropped to 9 volts instantly. Found the date code...2005. Not bad, only this battey and the original in 11 years. Borrowed a volt meter, gonna try this new battery, check the numbers, and see what happens.
