Seriously, you guys have ...have...to be loving the drama that theyre trying to work up with this

MOTO RACING - MOTOGP: Stoner Questions Hayden's Effort

Im not going to sit here and defend my boy Nicky against Stoner....if you knew the background and how hard Nicky works just to be where he is, you would be happy just like me to see him doing as well as he both has and currently does. Fuck it...Go Nicky!!!!! heheheheee Let me know when your local boy from the middle of nowhere with no money and little prospects does what he has done and I'll root for him too.

But.....the whole Vale thing is too good, damn if I were writing for the motorcycling press, I'd buy Casey a steak dinner.

    Gotta love it

And yes I do get it that we as the fan racing public are focusing on 16 people on the planet that make up the grid.......thats really the pity.

Must be a slow press day in Silverstone not much in that story will be remembered past reading it and Casey started by saying he had respect for Nicky.

Will be watching the race live tonight with a few beers and buddies cheering Stoner on though hate to say but an in form Pedrosa on Honda would liven things at the front with Simoncelli and Lorenzo fractionally off Stoners qualifying times. Good that Spies has made a decent showing so might make a podium if he has a good race. Poor old Vale looks to have Elias as his sparring partner but he has charged through the field many times to the point end in the past so who knows.

WTF why is all the discussion about some 22 year olds that weigh about 120 pounds and their exquisite abilities and their lack of real experience in road riding. The real world is about 40-60 yo sensibilities. If you want to live more than vicariously then get out on the track and see what you can do. The VFR might be a great platform.

The VFR are a good bike to convert in to a superb trackbike. It won't compete with the last generations kilobikes, but it will tear newer 750 and 600 to pieces!

Lots of HD 45's being raced in vintage class here.

These two guys aside from being Canadian are the real Harleydoods.

Very cool project and the records to prove it:

    YouTube - ‪Flathead Harley Racer‬‏

Once in awhile vintage a real K bike will show up and ever more rare is the KRTT and more rare than that is a KRRR.

Because he is exciting to watch, close mate of mine is a big fan of his.

With Moto 2 still running in very wet conditions and riders falling over or having moments, MotoGP will be interesting suiting Lorenzo and Rossi " for sure".

Wow are we getting off track... (VFR a good track bike, beating modern 600's and 750's, really?)

Back to regular programming of this thread:

What a messy day for GP... Iannone and Keenan disappoint again... I'm starting to give up hope these two will get their crap together. Marquez, may be fun to watch, I wouldn't know, cause he can't seem to stay on his bike long enough for me to decide if he's really talented or just like a young Xaos... You remember 10 years ago, when Xaos was either on the box, or off the track? There was never an in between; that's Marquez so far this year. Bradl still the class of the class.

Tough GP for the Yamaha boys... Edwards and Nicky ran great in the wet, and Rossi snuck up to 6th, getting to 4th in the points... Frankly I don't like wet races...

Then, the WSBK boys out there, but normal service resumed there too; Checa 1, Biaggi 2, Milandri and Laverty in top 5... But, now we're supposed to be hitting the tracks that the Duc will struggle at; so now everyone else is supposed to put on the charge...

Next weekend, AMASBK and WSBK, Barber and Aragon, should be fun!

Darn, I always thought racing was racing and there was more to it than watching Moto-GP on the tube and bean counting.

Anybody interested in the stats for NATP ? (National Association of Tractor Pullers) Or how bout the dude who damn near broke 200mph at Muroc on an electric bike.

It was a messy race was surprised Stoner managed to ride so well given the conditions and even though I'm a fan would like to see closer races up front. Good race by Dovi and Hayden but shame about Lorenzo he was riding the Yamaha hard but it also shows how good at everything the Honda is this year, too good ?

I liked Edwards post race interview where he said it wasn't the broken collarbone so much as the muscle separation from his rib cage that was giving him grief through the race.

Stoner is looking formidable in all conditions. His record lap in qualifying was a statement.

Carlos Checa isn't doing too bad.
