Long story, short...multiple bike owner...sold an 01 3 years ago to get a dual sport (wife told me not to) and I regretted it the day it rode out of here....3 years later, sold the dual sport and picked up a pristine 99 w/9,500 miles - original owner, brand new set of PPs (I just had mounted), cover, cowl and owners manual....put new brakes, filters etc and I am on the road again...hope to see some of you out there...I am in the metro Atlanta area.

Hey that looks like my bike when I got it... I had to get rid of the stock potato cannon pipe pretty quickly. Shes a beauty.

Thanks....I agree, the pipe has to go...I am looking for a set of beetle bags first, then will get the pipe that best fits under those...I plan on doing some overnighters and using it for work too, so I want to get those bags...I am also going to find some heli bars....never had them before, but want to see if they make any difference.

I just recently got a sargent seat for mine and it is superb. Has a much better shape than the stock one, takes some of the weight off my wrists. The two piece design also creates a nice little storage space under the seat cowl. Does the bike have the ricks motorsport rectifier and the VFRness from wiremybike? I failed to do those upgrades when I got my and was left stranded.

On my old one I had a Corbin seat and it was great...I like the idea of a 2 piece seat from Sargent...I'll check it out. Don't thin the vfrness has been done...I will check into it though. Any way to know by looking under the seat? I'll see what I can find and if not, I'll do it. Thanks for the suggestion.
