Today I bought a pile of junk that I am going to build into a cafe racer.
I went to the DMV and took care of the paperwork and fees today.

I will post build photos this week.

EXCELLENT!!!!! Can't wait to see where you go. My 81 CB750 cafe-style is at a stand still due to 2 Kaws in my shop taking up my free time.

Cool project on that late model DOHC 750.
I like that front wheel and forks. What is it from?

The back wheel does not look right and why is the ass end of the seat kicked up?
    Just asking.

    Keep us posted.

its the 92 viffer forks and cbr900 wheel and rotors, the tail is high as it is cause it's gonna be kinda street-fighter hybrid. Failed on the 180 rear so it's a 160 cruiser tire on thw stock CB rim. Still playing with it. I'm in no hurry. Bike has been down for years to to a deer strike. If I hate it I'll grab the SawzAll again.

I will not get the bike to my house until Tuesday or Thursday July 12th or 14th.
Here are two photos of the bike at the salvage yard.

Are you going to be building a new frame for it? Going to get one of those RC 836 kits?

    Donald,

What do you do with your builds? Ride them, sell them, display?

    I sell them.
I use the money for the next build.
    It is a disease.
The last build gave me 3 years of fun.

My last build (VF1000R chopper) is now living in San Francisco.
    Very fitting place for it.

The seat and tail section are to be redone in the near future to make it look like a cafe style solo seat/tail section...
