I have decided to sell my VFR and move onto a bigger bike.

    For details, click here

This is definitely a bittersweet moment. I'm ready to move on, but I have learned and grown so much on this bike. In a perfect world, I would hold onto the parts bike and gather all of the missing pieces to make it run, but I don't have the time to make that happen.

I would love to see a member on this site buy it and fix it up nice with all of the modern pieces (wheels, brakes, etc), the way I should have.

I'm asking 2,500 for the pair, but feel free to make a fair offer.

    Dook,

I'm ready for a modern bike with more displacement. I've had my eye on the FZ1s and 5th Gen VFRs for a while now, and I think its time to move on. I love this bike though, and I want it to go to somebody who will take care of it

Well, if you have outgrown the displacement of a 2nd gen 700, you must be quite the rider.

$1500 would be a way more fair asking price..$2500 will buy you a lot newer nice bike with less miles.

Remember, the $2,500 asking price includes 2 bikes - a strong runner, and a nearly complete parts bike.

Also, the asking price is just that: an asking price. The price says "or best offer" after it for a reason. The price isn't firm by any means. Make me an offer and the worst I can say is no!

If you have a nearly complete parts bike for sale, would you be willing to part out / the rear cowl?
