Alright guys, I'm finally calling it quits, something broke, I don't know what, and I spent about 8 hours trying to fix it today. I've decided, I'm letting her go. I wanted to offer it up to you guys first, I'll let the whole bike go for $800, look through my prior threads for pics. If I don't get any bites within 2 weeks on it whole, then I will start parting it out. When I start parting out, I will offer up the plastics as a whole only (with fuel tank) for another two weeks since they all match, after that I will let them go separately if they don't sell. I'll let it sit on here for a month, if I don't get any hits I'll go to eBay and you can bid on items there.

By the way, I hate that I'm doing this :frown::frown::frown::frown::frown:

Well, problem started a couple months ago riding home, came to a quick stop, bike stalled, hit the starter and it was completely dead. I replaced the stator thinking that was it only to find the battery did not hold a charge, replaced that. Rode fine for a few days, really well actually, then I came to it one day and it was completely dead again, battery would not charge from the bike, so today I replaced the voltage regulator, things still weren't right so I replaced the starter thinking that there may be something wrong there, still nothing. I did get it to start this morning and it did run, however, after putting everything back together today and trying to fire it up, it simply will not start. I've checked and double checked all of my connections and I just don't know what it could be.

Frankly, I've spent a lot of money getting this bike right and I just can't justify it anymore. For all I know, it could be a super quick fix and I could be missing something very obvious, I just can't dedicate the resources to it anymore.

how does the starter button feel? have you had any problems with it? check your wiring plug where your main fuse is... it may be cooked ... it is located to the rear of the battery... if it is cooked it would cause what you are experiencing...hang in there...

I'd bet anything that whatever's wrong wouldn't cost much, if anything to fix. It'll just take some time and methodical testing.

Bro- put a fluke on it. Sounds to me like you've got a switch-off voltage drain. My guess would be the starting circuit, since in almost all automotive applications that's the most common problem. It's your bike- so I'm no one to tell ya what to do with it, but I sure wouldn't kill a good bike over a gremlin. Sry I'm not close enough to help.
