hi! guys i bought a 2004 interceptor for my wife this summer and it's doing the same thing usualy starts good cold and when we stop for a break it does the same thing put on the key switch no noise from the fuel pump and does not turn over, we play with the key switch a few time and there it goes until the next break.i will let you know what i found about that problem as soon has a get a few minutes to check that out by the way excuse my english i'm a french canadien from montreal,qc ,canada
Ok folks. I finally got back up to my folks "storage" basement and was able to track down the problem to the kill switch. I jiggled it (like my techno language?!) several times with the key in the on position and noticed that the fuel pump would charge intermittently. So, I kept jiggling it and finally got the fuel pump to stay on and even got it to turn over. phew. I'll take it apart and clean it out this spring. This bike has been amazingly reliable for me, other than the rectifier. Thanks to all again. Rob
