this is getting real old. cleaned my carb. got new boots, synchronized, and adjusted valve clearances. bike does the same thing as before. throttle is slow to respond sometimes motor even dies if i turn it too fast, when letting go sometimes doesnt return to normal idle and just hangs and worst of all WHEN RIDING when i turn the throttle more than half a turn I get no more power than that and i can turn it more and nothing happens i just stay at the same speed im at kinda like theres a limiter!!! WHAT COULD B WRONG? cause im gettin sick of this im about to take it to a shop.

    Bike type 84 VF750 SABRE

It really sounds like the engine is starving for fuel to me. Have you checked the tank inside and the fuel filter for possible blockage?

U know what im almost of the same opinion right now the carb is getting a ultrasonic cleaning to ensure theres no internal blockage but the thing is this model is gravity fed can i attach a fuel pump what r my options? I'll let u know what she does when i get my carb back. Thanks for the reply!

You won't need a fuel pump. A gravity system will work fine under normal conditions if the lines are clean and clear. I'm not familiar with the VF750 specifically, but check that the fuel lines are not crimped or bent anywhere. I assume it has a petcock valve; make sure that's clean and clear of debris inside the tank. If you have an inline filter, either change it (they're cheap) or just try running without it to see if there's a change. It should be easy to clear up any clogs in the fuel delivery system leading up to the carbs.

    Blocked tank breather hose?

    (dont know your model well)

Try removing hose from the filter on the tank side with the petcock off.
Put hose into a clean container.
Turn on Petcock and see how the flow is from there (there should be a spec for this somewhere)
If that looks fine, do the same thing on the filter side to see if the filter is high enough flow....if it is not a spec filter.

    Just a few thoughts.

it dose not sound like CDI to me, they are rare to go(although mine went) but when they go they usually internally short and you will be blowing fuses and you bike will not even start,(blows fuse as soon as you hit the starter) I would remove your spark plugs and inspect them with a 10x magnifying glass. checking the ceramic for any cracks of indications of malfunction. if they look ok, with all of them out, hook one up to one of the rear cyl. leads ground it out on the rocker cover and crank the bike with ignition and kill switch in the run position. check if each plug has a strong spark, should be a bright white/blueish spark.(if you can do it in a dim lit or dark place it shows up better. had a similar problem on my 91 when i first got it ran like shit for a while then got worse progressively. (intermittent spark cause it had a little crack in the ceramic insulator only seen under magnification.)
