Hi I'm Yul and I'm new to the VFRWorld forums. I have a question that I hope can be answered because I've been wracking my brain for two days trying to figure this out. I recently purchased the GIpro gear indicator for a 2007 VFR800/A and for the life of me can't locate the DLC on my motorcycle. The directions are simple, but I just can't find or see the RED pole male diagnostic connector. I removed the upper right meter panel as instructed, but I don't see the wire. Please HELP as I want to have this installed with in the next few days because the wheather is warming up here and I want to get my motorcycle on the road.

Attached in the pics is the inside of the right meter panel where the DLC should be located, but isn't. Trying to hook up the GiPRO gear indicator.

Okay I give, what the heck is a DLC???

Are you looking for the diagnostic service connector plug perchance?

On my '03 that's located in the loom with the fuse box wiring.

You must remove this little inner trim panel on your bike to access it.

Thanks for the heads up on the pic. I found the connector and I've hooked up my GiPRO. Everything seems to be working fine with the gears being indicated correctly. Now I have another small issue. When removing the trim clips, some of the clips broke regardless of how careful I was. I noticed that I had two different trim clips installed on my bike. One looks generic and the other looks like the Honda trim clip. I bought the motorcycle used when I was overseas so I'm wondering if I order the paet from Honda, will these new clips fit in the middle section of the meter panel as well. I would like to replace all of them if possible because those were the ones that were generic.
