I need some help reassembling a 93 VFR i acquired and just got running after a good carb cleaning. The PO is the one who took it apart so as you can imagine its fun piecing the puzzle back together. My questions? (1) Bottom of the tank..Are there vent tubes that should be attached and if so do they just run down thru the frame to the bottom of the bike? (2) The front vent tube on the carbs..It looks like a hose should be hooked to it..where does it hook to? (3) Air Box..theres 2 elbows attached to the front (mine is missing 1)..do they attach to anything?
Thanks for any and all help..you probably know how much fun it is when you get a bike and you're handed a box full of nuts and bolts and parts, parts parts..

    1. Download the manual.

    2. Yes, ther tansk and carbs have vent tubes that are routed to the bottom of the bike near your right foot.

    3. The vents on the front of the airbox are for the air injector system. Cap them and ditch the whole air pump system and cap all open vacuum ports as well as put blocking pieces on the exhaust ports under the heads, front and rear.

Thanks Larry for the reply..I got the vent tube on the carb sorted out..I found the hose in a box that connects the front vent to the back vent tube..under the plenum. Looks like the vent hose from the tank is missing..will have to replace that..as far as removing the PAIR system..do I just block off the airbox vents, use block plates on the heads above the exhaust, remove all the lines? Anything else need to be done?
