While driving to work the other day, I saw a new car that made me do a double take because it was just so damn ugly. With apologies to those that own one of the following, I find that several manufacturers who can make things of beauty have also made some hideous cages.

I submit the following, but in no particular order.

    infiniti-fx35.jpg
    pacer.jpg
    nissan van.jpg
    porsche-panamera.jpg

The Infiniti FX reminds me of what a Pacer would look like if it had been updated through the years. The Pacer is perhaps one of America's ugliest cars ever. I think its worse than a Gremlin.

I'm not really sure how to describe that new Nissan Van.

The Porsche is just too....un-Porsche. I've always had a thing for Porsche, and I can't even force myself to like that car.

Don't get me wrong - I'm not talking about the mechanical abilities or performance from any of our modern day cars: I'm sure its great. This is merely just my opinion on some of our American cars.

I'd be interested to see what our friends from other parts of the world consider ugly vehicles.

The Pontiac Aztec is definitely one of the ugliest, but that's an old model now.

Am I the only one who has fantasies about buying an old Pacer and turning it into an Aquarium on wheels?

I would also like to buy an old El Camino for some strange reason.

Not sure if you get them in the US but the Korean Ssangyong Stavic is one of the recent times ugliest cars, right up there with the Pontiac Aztek.

Not knowing what that was not sure at this time if it's in the " Ugly / Ugly " or " Ugly / Interesting " ie some say the Chrysler's '60s 300s or Guzzi Griso are Ugly but I think their designs Interesting, anyone seen one on the road ?

Are we talking intrinsically ugly from concept to execution? Or a clapped out piece of shit pickup that never gets washed because the owner is too mean to care.

If its the latter, I win.

How about my company car? Some people say it's ugly, but I think it's beautiful:

I've always liked Porsches, but hate the Cayenne. Actually, I hate all 4WDs. You can't see past them, & don't get me started on the attitude of the people driving them...

Awesome! Some tremendously ugly cars worldwide.

A Nissan Juke, whether 46 or 465 HP, is ugly.

When I was a teen, my motor-head friend took a Pinto and put a Mustang engine in it. He had to trim part of the front wheel wells out to get it to fit. It was fast as all hell, but still ugly as roseanne barr.

Sorry DigitallyHip, but that van of yours is ugly too. lol
