    Greeting everyone!

Long time fan of interceptors and am now posting on here for the first time. I am looking to pick up an interceptor and came across this one on my craigslist. 1984 HONDA INTERCEPTOR 500

Is this a fair price? What are some things I should look for?

Please help point this noobie in the right direction.

    Thanks

To begin with, it's a VF500F (the VFR is a different machine); but I'll let that go for now. $1000 is probably a decent price; but from the pics I'd say it would need a serious once-over by someone who knows something about the bikes. The frame didn't come from the factory black, so it's been painted - and perhaps repaired. The baby Interceptor is a fun little bike; but they can be a maintenance challenge and are difficult to find parts for.

Take someone you trust to look at the bike in person before you commit to anything.

    My $.02
