Looks pretty clean and very original. Not much, if any aftermarket parts. Check the normal stuff (chain, sprockets, tires, etc.) and for each that needs replacement take 50% of the cost of replacements and deduct them from the asking price and offer him that. At least that's what I do unless they say the price is reflective of maintenance needed. Also, ask if he/she has the solo seat cowl. Otherwise, buy and enjoy!

    Thank you.

I talked to the guy on the phone this evening and got some more information.

He has owned the bike for the past 5 years and hasn't ridden it much. He said he has never dropped it but it has some small scratches on one fairing that aren't very noticeable. He said the previous owner my have dropped it, what kinda damage can this do besides the scratches?
He also said the rear tire needs to be replaced. Everything else seemed good to go. Suggested rear tire for this bike and where to purchase?

Also, he has moved out and has the bike in storage. He is back in forth between Houston and Chicago at the time so I think I can get the price down. Is $2500 a good buy?

    Thans everyone.

I would definitely start at $2500 or less. Look up the NADA or KBB values and go from there also. I wouldn't worry about a simple little drop. Not much damage will come from it. The scratches will tell you for sure though. If they go up and down on the side of the bike then it's a simple drop. If the scratches go front to back ont he bike it's been crashed at speed.

A new tire will run around $150-$200 depending on brand. You should try to match front and rears (brand/model wise). Check out motosport or other motorcycle stores online. I think the '95 takes a 160 or 170/55 rear but not 100% sure. There are plenty of tire threads here on the forum to keep you busy for a week. Same goes for oil.
