2002 vfr 800

So I just bought a vfr 800 and it has a weird clicking sound coming for
The bike. I change the oil and all of a sudden the clicking sound became apparent. I used Mobil 1 4t racing oil and I don't what the hell the damn sound is. Any ideas. Powaymobilemechanic@gmail.com

 

Does it go away or change the sound when you pull in the clutch?

 

No. It comes and goes at idle and up to 3000rpm

 

Check ur chain tension

 

Then i would use either a mechanics stethoscope or a long screwdriver held to my ear to probe onto the engine heads and also the fuel injectors to hear where the clicking originates--i'm gonna guess it is the injectors.

Are you hearing it while stationary or moving? i assumed stationary.

 

How many miles on the bike? I was just in ur neck of the wood yesterday.
