That is going to depend on the springs that are used with the forks and the shocks. Even then, it is going to be a personal setting that you find works best for you.

Don't be afraid to play with it. Set it all the way one way then go ride. Stop, adjust it the total opposite way, and keep on riding. That will give you a good idea of what does what. Then you just start tuning it towards where it needs to be.

If you've got some help, a good place to start with spring preload is by setting the sag. >>> Race Tech - Setting Sag

By the way, which shock do you have? Is it the HO 043, HO 203, or HO 605?

when you start making adjustments write it down so you know what settings you started at and what settings you end up at.

Got a 46 DRS, started at 3 turns of preload, and 3 clicks of rebound, will see how it works, but while I have it on the rack, will change the oil and filter also.

Got the back pretty good, now the front, should be easy, as the forks had full pre load cranked in, some one had this bike set for Hero settings???? Making it a little softer should help.

I'm 215lbs and like a stiff suspension over fast bumps that doesn't bounce over the woop de woops.
Front preload set with the first ring about a 1/16th inch under the ring.
Back cranked all the way high and backed off 7 clicks or 4 full turns back, with rebound set to all the way hard back 1 full turn.
It's still a bit hard in the seat over a fast (lines or small pothole) but not so much over rolling bumps.
I set mine according to how much turn in I get, and I prefer the bike to pull in and down when cornering; why the back is sprung up. It makes it handle rather than want to role out of the turn.
    Hope this helps.
