You've got a great looking bike there and it sounds like you did it the hard way. Is the VFR even sold in Vietnam? I know that there are other countries where there are limitations on displacement and anything over a certain size, like 250cc, is either not available or taxed very heavily to where you can't afford it. How about parts availability? It seems that you're looking for used parts, but can't these be sourced within your country? We're spoiled here in the US as everything is readily available. Congratulations.

    Thank you Stewart.
I have owned two VFR800 and this one is my 2nd one. There are not many VFR800 in Vietnam actually. If I am not mistaken, there are currently less than five (05) VFR800 within Vietnam border.
We dont have the manufacture dealer here. Just some of Import/export company which including Bike importation. Only dealer here is Ducati. However, the Ducati price here is damn crazy.
So, it is unable to find right VFR parts and accessories here. I gotta look for outside of Vietnam.
It's hard to get stuff actually. Not many people willing to ship the things oversea to here, or the cost will increase like hell coz of the shipping fee.
That why I am looking for the used parts for reducing the cost and feeding my hobby...

I have bought the OEM saddle hardbags and the mounting racks from US, delivered to me yesterday.
Today I sent them to paintshop to repaint to Red color (instead of orignial Blue) and fix some minor scratches.
Hope that I can have time to take some photo show up here this weekend.

Oh hell. I was making this thread under the dust for too long.

    ------------------

Just a heads up - I will be in US first half this October.
Rolling_Again and some VFR riders are helping me to make a plan for a riding trip from Atlanta to Smokey mountain, Dragon, Nashville, Ozarks and back to Atlanta.
Anyone from VFRW would like to join us?
