I don't see any listed on Hondas web site. Would sure suck if they didn't.

Since they had them for the 2010, I've got to believe they'll have them for the 2012. In a worse case, you can buy the 2010 cases and have them color matched for the new blue color scheme.

Does Givi still make the bags for Honda to sell as oem? You may be able to color match v35's or something if Honda is too pricey.

I know that GIVI makes the OEM bags for the 6th Gen 800. Before I bought them, I did look at the other GIVI option and didn't think that they looked nearly as good. The OEM bags look like they are made for the bike. The other ones don't. I ended shopping around and found the OEM bags for around $800 which ended up being only a little more than the GIVI option. I bet that if you shop around for the VFR1200 bags, you can come up with much better pricing than retail.

The bags are pricey enough. I'd hate to factor in repaint cost.

I know, but if you're already spending well over $10K+ for a 2012, do you want to compromise the looks of it with a set of non-OEM bags (that are your 2nd choice) that you have to live with forever? In the grand scheme of things, over the number of years you'll have the bike, how much more is it to get what you want? You might want to at least look into what the repaint would cost and like I said before, shop around for the bags. The 6th Gen ones can be had for much less than retail.

non-oem were my first choice. The oem's are too small for two-up long distance touring. I would have never bought the bike if the oem bags were my only choice.

They make them. I ordered a set with my new bike. They are backordered and delivery estimate is mid December. They are pricey but they are also gorgeous and look great on the bike.
