I almost bought a 2000 (in yellow of course)! The 2001 I ended up with was cheaper and had less miles, which is why I went for it.

Your bike really brings back some good memories. I once owned a brand new '99. It is a great bike. Enjoy.

Here's the latest pic with a Danmoto Jisu muffler. I saw a youtube video of the exhaust and really liked the sound (1998 Honda VFR 800 with danmoto jisu exhaust - YouTube). And for $135 I figured I couldn't go wrong. Made in China, I know, but looks decent and sounds great.

I was about to ask what was under his motorcycle...

a trailer you say? I thought that's what those harleys hold down on the way to sturgis.

Went on the Christmas toy run this year with a guy who was wearing a "sturges" sweatshirt. A harley doode you know. Asked him if he rode there on his harley. Nope....e trailered it there. He squats to pee too.

I would've loved to have ridden her home but had no way to get to Raleigh NC except to drive my myself. None of my buddies were free as I saw the advert only days before the trip. Was very tempted to leave the car/trailer and ride it anyway! That was the first and last time I trailer a bike. Damn thing is for my ATV anyway! How could you go to Sturgis and not ride there? "Squats to pee" is right.
