Normally I do not make New Years Resolutions. Matter of fact, it has probably been about 20 years since the last one failed. But I have renewed confidence in myself now that I am retired. So here it goes with another try at succeeding with New Years Resolutions:

    1. Work considerably harder..........at doing nothing,
    2. Eat more fruits and vegetables..........and potatoes, and steak, and chocolate cake, and ice-cream.
    3. Have far fewer drinks..........but make them much bigger.
    4. Exercise the fore arms..........doing beer bottle curls.
    5. Ride more. But seriously, this last one will be hard to beat from last year.

What are you going to do?

I rode exactly one kilometer in 2012 so I've set a goal to double my mileage in 2013 and I'm fairly certain that I can do it.

That said, I did approximately 5000 kms trailering bikes so maybe that counts for something?

Holy shit it has been forever since I've been on here! Anyway, I have made resolutions to quit smoking cigars (I was smoking them like cigarettes, inhaling and doing it multiple times daily), Do 500-1000 push-ups daily, and RIDE MY FUCKING VRF! I only rode about 500mi last year due to my baby girl being born, but I managed to avoid selling it, now I am getting the itch and I want to ride a lot in 2013.

I have been gone so long becasue I bought a pickup and have been spending all my extra cash on getting it ready to do some serious 4 wheeling.

Maybe, but they won't jiggle like the ones I have now ;)
It sounds more BA than it really is. 500= ten sets of 50 throughout the day or 2 sets of 25. The goal is to reach 1k/day by the end of the school year. I will be coaching discus and shotput this spring so I will be doing workouts with my athletes meaning I will have plenty of time to focus on it!

Well coaching is the fun part. Teaching 11-13 Year olds science is the tough part.

I have two teenage daughters so I can see the issue. It is a wonder that any of them graduate with all the distractions / hormones

I started smoking again for 2013, because my resolution was to not quit at anything anymore. Nobody likes a quitter.

Yeah I tried that reasoning with the wife, and she somehow didn't see it the way I did...

Here's too wishing all the best here in what they'd like to see for 2016. Me, it's been a wild 2015 so far, so full of ups and downs makes for ones head to spin off if it wasn't fasten on. But a good ride would be nice if it can be worked out. To stay healthy enough to be able to enjoy it, have a care free mind set to be able to take it all in stride making it all the more blissful would be great too. Now the question is, where to? ;)
