Hi to everyone on VFRWorld I've been lurking for a while and thought I would go official and make my presence known.

So I've been riding an 84 VF750F for a decade or so and picked up an interesting bike a few years ago. Someone took a 1986 VFR750 and put mid nineties GSxR suspension on it. The result was great VFR power with nice 17" radial tires and upgraded suspension and brakes all around. It had been ridden hard and put away wet but I figured it was worth saving. Got it home and took it apart to fix a bunch of fairing cracks and weld up the instrument cluster mounting frame...

Anyway, it's been 5 years now and I sold the '84 and have to get the '86 running if I'm going to ride this summer. Got some gas into it last night and got it started but the carbs are now leaking, looks like from the crossover tubes between the carbs. I guess the carbs are coming off now and new O-rings are in works for the tubes (and maybe new tubes). Hopefully this isn't a huge job and I can get the parts fairly quickly. The sun's shining in Vancouver these days and I miss being able to hop on a ride!

Here are a couple of pics. Fairings and tank are all stashed elsewhere. I may leave the fairings off and go streetfighter on it to get riding earlier!
