    The PR3's 41 & 35 psi

Like how they turn, bike leans willingly and predictably. I don't get that gummy feedback when their on their edges like with the Sportmax 2's. still not sure how I feel about that.
I've read they wear well but can't say first hand, have less then 2K on them.

I am running the PR3's with about 5k on them now. There is not much wear showing and i also run 37f / 41r. Almost all of those miles are commuter and I have not started to form big wear ridges from all the non-twisty . EXCELLENT in the cold and wet. I absolutely recommend these tires, on any bike that will take them.

PR3's...I run around 40psi in both normally. They may cost a little more than others, but they last longer, wear better and perform great at everything.(Never done a track day on them, but flog them pretty hard in the mountains) I highly recommend them.

havent had any issues with them on my Hyosung or my Vfr so far in all kinds of weather which includes crazy downpours and cold winter riding...never had any issues in the dry/warm weather either...at least on the street that is...cant speak for how well they are on the track...yet...cheap to buy and good tire mileage (at least on the 650, too early to tell for the vfr)

Running a mix. I have a Pirelli Diablo on the rear that I want to wear out and the front is a Dunlop Q2.

The Q2's are fantastic tires. Tons of side grip and dual compound center helps it resist wearing flat. Transition from center to sidewall is quick and you don't notice the difference in compound. Great shape to them as well. My Pirelli is almost not showing any cicken strip and the front has a good 1/2" to go. Many track day people use Q2's as their track tire. It is an awesome tire that is genuinely track ready. They are on sale right now at Cycle Gear too. Hmmmmmmmm ........ maybe I should just put on the rear so they match.

Pirelli Rossi 2s, like their quick and Linear turnin due to their round profile, great grip wet and dry not sure about their mileage, had R3s before them which were even better in the wet and brilliant for milage but hard work in continual long distance twisties due to their flat profile and short steep sides.

Had Q2s before the R3s they were brilliant in warm and dry with precise linear turnin but found them frightening in cold and wet twisties , apparently the Dunlop Sportsmarts are supposed to be better overall than the Q2s for the road with a quicker cold weather warm-up and better in the wet so may try them next.

Bridgestone battlax bt-023. Seems to be a great sport touring tire. I am actively trying to minimize my chicken strips and I think they have performed well. From what I have read, they get great commuting mileage but have yet test this first hand since I am on my first set.

I should mention that I just came off a set of the Battlax BT-020. They held up well - about 9000 miles is what I got out of them. I switched to the PR3's because of the hype and I wanted to try something new - even though I had no complaints with them.

Was the Hype worth it? I have read nothing but good things about the PR3's

I usually run pilot powers front and rear but thought i would try something different. I have a roadsmart 2 on the rear and the pp up front and im really disappointed with the roadsmart. I have around 2000 miles on it and it is already flat on top. It is only slightly better wearing than the pilot power with much less grip on the side. I run about 40psi rear and 36 front. I will go back to pilot powers front and rear. I may try one of michelins sport touring tires soon though as i have always liked michelins or bridgestones over dunlop.

I used to run Pilot Road 2's until I bought my own tire changer and now I run Pilot Powers exclusively. I only get about 3k miles out of them but I don't mind since I no longer need to take them to a shop to have them changed. Unfortunately I made the sad mistake of buying those cheapo regular Pirelli Diablos on sale from Cycle Gear last year to save a few bucks and then proceeded to low side my 3rd Gen on them. I am convinced the tires and weak rear suspension were to blame since I am a perfect rider who never makes any mistakes

So far, I'd say yes. I've already been caught in the rain with them and the grip was really good - way better than the previous 2 set of tires. In the dry, my corner speed is up 2 MPH, so they really hold the road well.

I've got Bridgestone S20's front and rear. Opted for these as I got them cheaper and I had them on my brand new fireblade. Unfortunately, I have been hugely disappointed by them. Relegating the fact that they don't wear well, their grip levels are nothing to write home about. I would fit the Dunlop sportsmax, but again, I feel that the compounds are too hard. The Dunlop Roadsmarts are off limits as they are more concerned about providing range. I think it all depends on what your riding style is like. For me, the VFR 1200 is not a touring bike ( ok; it's not a sportsbike either ) I use it like a hybrid sportsbike and that means I need grip. So, I would say that there is no panacea in tyre compounds from most of the tyre manufacturers. I'm going for Metzeler - K3 or M5 - probably K3. For my Fireblade I'm definitely going for K2s. These bikes are designed for speed and perfomance and you need the tyres to conform to those needs.

love my PR2's. My wife put PR3's on hers last month and we've yet to hit it in the wet, but she really likes the feel of them.

My '07 had PR2s on when I bought the bike in January. I've had PR2s before, no complaints. I run the recommended pressures: 36/42 front & rear.
