I initially wasn't that taken with these products, but after fitment i am satisfied with the look.
Installing the hugger was a bit fiddly, i never ended up using one of the plastic inner tabs that clips on to the swingarm (the one up front behind the shock) as it warped the shape of the hugger and it rubbed on the wheel.

Tank protector went on easy, although i have my doubts about the longevity of the double sided tape used to stick it on (as bought like that).

    Pics to tell story.

More pics of bits attached, these parts are both made by Geelong carbon Fibre.

Hey daffy, does the swingarm part of the hugger replace the chain guard? If so, how does that affect the routing of the brake line?

Yes it does replace chain guard and it is all one piece. The brake line is screwed back down in the same place as original mount using the bracket off the original chain guard.

The wish list is always big, just getting the VFR was my first one. The few little things i've done to date are the beginning.
I've done just over 3000klm/s on the bike now and i can feel it getting smoother and stronger, fuel economy is also pleasing at around 42mpg commuting, and 48mpg highway.

Quick question, since I am ordering the same parts from GCC. The GCC sticker, are those under the clear coat? or over the clear coat?

They are over it and easily removed, i've taken the tank one off and the hugger one is hidden by my registration label holder.
Horrible stickers and free advertising so i always take them off.
