Made it home.......super charger grenaded two miles from home. Thanks for a great time fella's, off to turn some wrench's.

 

Home at last... Another great get-together hosted by Teri and Reg! Thanks to all for a great event!

BTW Toe, thanks for the tank of fuel too. Just did the math, and I was down to 27 mpg on that section of ride catching up to you guys. LOL

 

I also made it home around 8pm. The long wait on food in Ojai really killed the time of the trip. However, once we kicked Jason to the curb and got up to some reasonable speed, Drew and I made it home. 166 and 33 were well worth the trip. What a view on 33 near Ojai. Geeze, can there be any MORE popo on 33?

Once upon a time, in a land far, far away (not really that far but sorta far for some of you).

There was a simply male nurse and his hot wife wondering what they should do for Memorial Day Weekend.

SMN (i.e. Reg), "Hey HW (i.e. Terri), lets invite some motorcycle people over. It's nice out and there are some curvy roads that I think they would enjoy."
Terri: "Sure honey. They are so nice and what could possible go wrong?"

So the word was spread throughout the kingdom that people of fine moral standards, true of heart, courageous, honest, kind and super damn fast on their vfr's were invited to attend this festival of sorts. There will be jousting, sword fighting, and (of course) drinking contests. There might even be some motorcycle riding.

The day began in the lovely glen



as all days should: Lovely, quiet, serene.


Some of the knights started to arrive. Some were customarily checked for contraband by the contraband sniffing dog (lower right) and many of the knights lost a small amount of controlled substances. Re-instated to them by kind Terri after promises of no future wrong doing.


Reg, in particular, was concerned and threatened a knight with harm via the ancient method of "brain drilling". It may be obscure but it is affective. Said knight was cowed and continued to perform admirably until a small sickness affected his steed.

 

Damn I wish I could make the trek out there one of these years lol.

 

As is customary for a greating in this kingdom, the knights perform a complex assortment of hand gestures meant to promote goodwill through conveyance of common courtesy and brotherly love.


There are many forms of this. Some one handed, some two. Depends on the region of your birth and the lineage of your family.


But one thing is consistent: "Hello, I see you. You see me. I mean no harm. I come in peace." This is the way of the greatest of our knights.

Just got it apart, output shaft snapped in four spots..........parts hunt is on.
