When is that? I know it is coming up. I just might come down for the day. Might be able to convince a few others from here as well.

BTW, welcome to the site. But you will be considered a posser unless you post up pix. Pix of your bike that is. We don't care about your pet lama.

Don't know all the details but I think it is a pretty big bike event/ride which is mostly on Whitby Island, Puget Sound, I think, or there abouts. Just around the corner from Bremerton where the nuke sub base is. I have never been to one, but have always been interested. Maybe now that I am retired, at presetn anyways, I will go.

The "run" is not a run in the sense of being a point to point journey. The terminal is Anacortes,WA. Lots of Harleys and harleydood posers who ride up and down the streets revving their engines all decked out in the latest fashions and wondering why all eyes are not upon them.. Lots of really interesting iron there to both old and new. Farkle booths, Bikers for Jesus, Bikers agin Jesus, shitty food except the oysters on the half shell if you can find any.

The whole gig is years old and began as an ad hoc deal. Now it's organized sort of with nobody really calling all the shots. Kind of a bigass bike night in the daylight if it doesn't rain.

Check it out it's fun.. Vids on the Utube..

It got to be the SOS and way too crowded. Anacortes is not a large enough place to handle all the people and bikes. Not quite a mini-Sturgis or the season opener at Daytona but getting there.

Some of course who have never been to any of those big gigs will bitch and dream up all sorts of reasons that all those gigs are in the words of Mother Goddess Martha Stewart, "A good thing." and whine whilst squatting to pee.

Next time take the ferry over to Port Angeles and go to the hillclimbs they have there to do a real motorcycle thing.
