I just purchased as above and am looking for any information for good part sources, specifically a headlamp lens or a headlamp replecement idea. Also, any ideas or information regarding updating the bike would be welcome. I would like to go for a stripped look without losing the upper fairing or the twin headlamps. No pictures yet. Thanks
Hi and welcome to the MadHouse:welcome: You will quickly find that getting parts for the older VFRs can be a challenge. For an 86 your main source could well be a breakers/dismantler. Many projects have only been able to progress once they managed to buy a second donor bike to use as a source of spares. Good luck with your project, and if you do get a chance post up some pictures of what you have got - even if its just a heap of bits. SkiMad
